YMCA Community Clothing is a fundraising activity for the YMCA. One hundred percent of the proceeds raised from the sale of recycled donated clothing and articles is channeled directly back into the local community in which it was raised, via Foundation Y. How you can donate and support YMCA Community Clothing If you would like to donate your treasure, we'd love to hear from you! By donating your pre-loved clothing, and household items such as bric-a-brac, children's toys, small electrical items and furniture in good condition. What happens to my donation? All goods donated are sold through Savers Australia stores, with the money raised used to fund access to local YMCA programs for disadvantaged members of the community, via Foundation Y. "I would like to thank you for the three gym membership passes that you have organised for my two children and myself I have been in no position to offer my children any sort of activities for the past two years It has helped take so much pressure off me, trying to entertain my kids with no money, and giving them something to focus and work on. It has helped them to take out some of their anger, frustrations and disappointments in their lives I cannot put into words how much it has lifted our spirits." A recipient of recent support from Foundation Y. What items can be accepted?
